Exam Day Information

What to Expect

Knowing what to expect on exam day helps you arrive confident and ready to focus on the exam itself.

This section explains everything you need to know—from what to bring and how to check in, to security procedures, test center rules, and how the exam is delivered. Review these details carefully so there are no surprises on exam day, and you can concentrate fully on demonstrating your knowledge and skills.

1: Taking Your Exam

Plan to arrive at the test center at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow for check-in and security procedures.

Test center staff will verify your identification, explain the rules, and guide you through the check-in process before you begin. Candidates who arrive late, fail to present acceptable identification, or do not follow check-in requirements will not be admitted, and all exam fees will be forfeited. Arriving early helps ensure a smooth start and reduces test-day stress.

IMPORTANT: Arrive at least 15 minutes early. Be sure to check with your test center for hours of operation. Late arrivals or missing IDs mean you cannot take the exam, and all fees will be forfeited.

2: What to Bring to the Test Center

  • Required Identification:
    • Valid, current (not expired), government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, state ID, military ID).
    • Must include photo and signature (if not, bring two IDs: one with photo, one with signature).
    • Name must exactly match APMLE registration and NTS (including suffixes like Jr., III).

IMPORTANT: Failure to present acceptable ID = missed appointment, forfeited fees.
Contact Meazure Learning in advance if you cannot provide the required ID.
